Maintenance
Maintenance
- Regularly inspect the seat belts and all their components (such as buckles, latch, retractors, webbing, and seat belt height adjusters) to ensure they are functioning properly.
- If any seat belt parts are damaged, the webbing is torn, or other issues are
found, replace the entyre seat belt assembly. If the upper guide loop of the seat belt is dirty, the retraction speed may be slowed. Clean it promptly with a dry, clean cloth. - When cleaning the seat belt webbing, use a neutral soap solution or a cleaner suitable for interior upholstery and carpets. After cleaning, ensure the webbing is completely dry before use. Do not retract damp webbing into the retractor, as this may damage the retractor mechanism.
