Correct Sitting Posture of Driver
Correct sitting posture of the driver can reduce driving fatigue and ensure driving safety.
For the safety of driver and passengers, driver should do the following before driving:
- Adjust the seat forward or backward to a suitable position, so that the knee joint is slightly bent and the foot can fully reach the accelerator and brake pedals.
- Adjust the backrest to the appropriate angle so that the back can fully fit the backrest.
- Adjust the steering wheel to keep the distance between the steering wheel and your chest as far as possible. Make sure you can hold the highest point of the steering wheel even if your elbow is slightly bent.
- Adjust the mirrors to the proper position.
- Wear your seat belt correctly.
WARNING
- To reduce the risk of injury or death in the event of an accident, the distance between the steering wheel and the driver's chest should not be too close.
- The driver's hands should always be held on the outer rim of the steering wheel (at the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock clock positions) to ensure that the display screen information can be seen.
- During driving, the seat backrest should not be tilted too much. You must wear your seat belt correctly and keep a correct sitting position to avoid injury in emergency braking or accident.
- Never adjust the seat while the vehicle is in motion. If necessary, adjust the seat to the correct position after the vehicle stops, and then start driving.
Correct Sitting Posture of Rear Passenger
In order to ride safely, the rear passenger should do the following:
- Maintain a correct sitting position and try to keep your back close to the seat backrest.
- Place your feet in the foot space in front of the rear seat and keep them firmly on the floor.
- Wear your seat belt correctly.
